It is almost the anniversary of this horrific event 

and while it seems like just yesterday, 

it also feels so long ago. 

We have been working hard to restore our roads since the beginning of the year. 

We are about 75% complete with the repairs to the private road/driveway leading to our home. And, as I write this, we are finally getting our well drilled! 

This will allow our tenant to move back into his home and provide a safer and more reliable water source moving forward. 

The neighborhood road has also come a long way. Those projects are much more complex than our driveway, but we have come a long way and couldn't have done it without you and so many others. It has been a magnificent team effort, and the outpouring of support from our community, loved ones, volunteers, government agenices, and private organizations is a huge part of where we are today.
